Red Lilly Strategies provides several options to assist our clients with the ongoing care of their websites, depending on your level of technical knowledge and time availability.
Essential Website Maintenance Plan

Small Business Website Growth Plan

- Updates to content (1hr per month)

- Scan and fix broken links
- Database cleaning and optimisation
- Monthly customised analytics and performance reports
- Priority support
- Overage billed at reduced rate

SEO and Online Business Strategy Plan
- Includes everything in the Small Business Website Growth Plan, plus:
- Ongoing keyword research and competitor analysis
- Review of blog articles to ensure optimised for search engines
- Posting of articles to website blog and social media accounts
- Article delivery to customer email list
- Monthly coaching call and online strategy assessment
- Extra support and update time to implement agreed upon strategies
Common Maintenance Plan Questions
Although these plans are recommended for sites we build or re-design, we do welcome clients who are looking for a long term relationship with a dedicated webmaster.
However, as we are unfamiliar with your website and what has and has not been done in the past, we first like to do a Website Audit so we can review how it was built and any potential issues that could arise.
Most importantly, we will make a list of issues that need to be fixed and suggestions for improvement. We will also advise what needs to be done prior to proceeding on a maintenance plan, and what we can incorporate as part of the monthly support hours.
That's definitely a good question to ask! Content updates and small design improvements are the most common types of requests, however anything that fits into your monthly support time will be considered.
We just ask you to be aware that requests for new features to your website will normally be considered a new project as they will usually go over your dedicated support time. New projects will require a separate development proposal, however we will advise you if this is the case.
The dedicated support time is there for you every month to reserve your place in our queue and to enable us to allocate our resources appropriately, therefore it does not rollover. You can take comfort in the fact that the support tasks that you request will be addressed by our team in a responsive manner.
Extra support requests can be submitted and if they need to be actioned in a timely manner, we will charge an hourly rate for the work.
Those who are on either the Growth or SEO/Strategy Plan will have access to our reduced rate, whilst those on the Essential Maintenance Plan will be charged our normal hourly rate.
For those with monthly updates included, if the tasks can wait until the next monthly period, we can roll the support request over and complete the work as part of your normal dedicated support time.
As e-commerce and membership sites are transactional in nature, the database information that these websites store is much more complex. The $49 covers the extra work involved to ensure all updates to your website software are completed correctly. It also includes the cost of a premium backup solution, which provides real time backups of your website data. If something unforeseeable happened to your website, your business is protected.
The whole purpose of our maintenance plans is preventative care, so we do everything we can to reduce the risk of anything bad and scary ever happening. We cannot promise your website will not be hacked but can promise we will do everything in our power to prevent it.
If worst case scenario happened, we will restore the website with the most recent clean backup available. Also, if there is an issue with the server that stores your website files, we will communicate with the web hosting provider on your behalf and get your website back up as soon as possible.
